ai.FOUNDRY

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 13 July 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how KIOT Wireless Technologies Ltd (“KIOT”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, and protects personal information in connection with the ai.FOUNDRY platform and the website at ai-foundry.dev (the “Service”).

1. Who we are

The Service is operated by KIOT Wireless Technologies Ltd, a company incorporated in Canada. KIOT is the controller responsible for personal information processed through the Service.

2. Information we collect

Information you provide

  • Account & contact data — name, email, organization, and credentials when you or your organization register or contact us.
  • Content you submit — prompts, source code, files, and messages you send to the Service for processing by our agents and models.

Information collected automatically

  • Usage & metering data — API requests, timestamps, model/agent used, and token counts, recorded per API key for operation and billing.
  • Technical data — IP address, request headers, and server logs used for security, rate-limiting, and diagnostics.

3. How we use information

  • To provide, operate, and secure the Service and route requests to the appropriate models and agents.
  • To meter usage, prevent abuse, enforce limits, and, where applicable, bill each customer per API key.
  • To provide support, respond to enquiries, and communicate service or security notices.
  • To maintain, debug, and improve the reliability and quality of the Service.

We process personal information on the bases permitted under applicable Canadian privacy law (including PIPEDA), such as your consent, performance of a contract, and our legitimate business interests in operating a secure service.

4. Your content and AI processing

Content you submit is processed to generate outputs (code, reviews, chat responses). To do this, the Service may route your requests to third-party large-language-model providers as sub-processors. We do not sell your content, and we do not use your submitted content to train our own or third parties’ models without your consent. AI-generated outputs may be inaccurate or incomplete; you are responsible for reviewing outputs before relying on them.

5. When we share information

We share personal information only with: (a) sub-processors that help us run the Service — including model/inference providers and our hosting provider — under contractual confidentiality and security obligations; (b) authorities where required by law; and (c) a successor in the event of a merger, acquisition, or reorganization. We do not sell personal information.

6. Data retention

We retain account and metering records for as long as needed to provide the Service, meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations, and resolve disputes. Request/usage logs are kept for a limited period for security and billing and then deleted or aggregated.

7. Security

We use technical and organizational measures — including encrypted transport (HTTPS), access controls, per-key authentication, and isolated metering — to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request to access, correct, update, or delete your personal information, or withdraw consent. Where your organization administers your account, please direct requests to that organization; otherwise contact us using the details below. We will respond within the timeframes required by law.

9. International data transfers

We are based in Canada. Your information may be processed in Canada and in other countries where our sub-processors operate. Where required, we put appropriate safeguards in place for such transfers.

10. Cookies

The public website uses minimal, essential storage (for example, remembering your light/dark theme preference in your browser). We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies on ai-foundry.dev.

11. Children

The Service is intended for businesses and developers and is not directed to children. Where the Service powers a product used by minors (for example, an education platform), the operating organization is responsible for obtaining any required consents and for its own privacy practices.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. We will revise the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
